Come home, your life, property are safe, Orji assures Abia indigenes

Theodore Orji, governor, Abia State, over the weekend urged indigenes within the country and those in the Diaspora to visit their roots during the festive period as government has put necessary machinery in place to ensure their safety.The governor, who gave the assurance at the 5th Abia Think Tank Annual Forum Lecture in Lagos, said gone are the dark days when criminals had a field day within the states in the South East, adding that his administration had concluded arrangements to give out 42 vehicles to security agencies in the state to ensure crime-free yuletide.
