Remi Tinubu not qualified to represent Lagos

A LAGOS socio-political group, Lagos Collectives, has said that Mrs. Remi Tinubu, wife of former governor of Lagos State, Senator Bola Tinubu, is not qualified to represent Lagos Central District in the Senate because she hails from Delta State.The group, in a statement signed by its chairman, Prof. Tejumade Akitoye-Rhodes, said it was funny that the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) could go against the swearing-in of Mrs. Roli George, the wife of the former Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olabode George, as a member of the National Population Commission (NPC) when Tinubu's wife does not hail from Lagos.The statement reads: 'With Lagos State orphaned and denied a protective voice from genuine native sons and daughters, the total subjugation of Lagosians has now reached a wretched, pitiable level.
