UBA, MoneyGram in 'win-win promo

United Bank for Africa Plc and MoneyGram International have commenced a promo aimed at rewarding customers during the Yuletide.The promo tagged win-win, according to a statement by the bank, is targeted at both senders and receivers of money transfer services under the UBA/MoneyGram service platform in Nigeria .The Head, Retail Banking Division, UBA, Mr. Chidi Okpala, said the promo was part of the overall strategy of the bank to drive and sustain customer loyalty.He said, UBA and MoneyGram customers stand the chance of winning lots of exciting prizes including three return international tickets targeted at senders; three units of Thermocool 200- litre chest freezers and three units of Elepaq 3.7KVA generators are targeted at receivers.Other prizes, according to Okpala, are 10 BlackBerry phones, five laptops and thousands of consolation and instant prizes.He added that UBA had remained a very dominant player in the money transfer business in Nigeria, leveraging its over 750 business offices across the country, US dollar cash payout and improved customer service standards, to ensure convenient and efficient money transfer.
