Alao Babes, Orolu clash in Gov's Cup final

OSUN State Governor's Cup finals will be decided today at the Osogbo Township Stadium between Alao Babes FC of Iwo and Orolu FC of Ifon-Osun.The state's Football Association Chairman, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi, stated that Governor Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola will be the special guest of honour, while the Secretary to the State Government Chief Alhaji Monshood Adeoti will be the guest of honour for the finals.Also expected, are the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Nojeem Salami, House of Assembly members, Commissioners, local government Caretaker Chairmen, board members of the Osun State Football Association and the Sub-Committee board members of the Osun State Football Association.Alao Babes defeated Ilesha West FC 1-0 in the first semi-finals, while Orolu FC piped Egbedore FC 1-0 in the keenly contested second semi-finals.Meanwhile, Ogunjobi yesterday visited his former Captain in IICC Shooting Stars, Sam Ojebode on the sick bed at the University College Hospital, UCH and wished the former star player quick recovery from Congested Cardiac Failure he is suffering from.
