Akwa Utd prepare for new season without funds

Media officer of newly promoted Nigerian Premier League side, Akwa United, Uwem Ekoh has said that the team is going through cash crunch ahead of the start of the new season. Making this known to Inside Out Premier League from the teams camp in Uyo, Ekoh said the unavailability of funds is causing strains on the teams plan of acquiring quality players and also pre-season preparations. The only issue we are facing now is that of funds which is not coming as expected from the government.
