Horror Killings in Benue, Nasarawa

Much is yet to be heard about the recent killings in some parts of Nasarawa and Benue states by suspected combined forces of Fulani cattle rearers.Fleeing residents of some 60 villages in the Doma and Keana local governments areas of Nasarawa State and those on the border areas of the Benue State claim that at least, 400 persons have been killed, while their villages have been sacked by suspected Fulani cattle heardsmen. At least 6,000 others have been displaced following the carnage the followed.. Our correspondent, who just returned from the scene, reports that virtually all the villages were badly ravaged.
