Bristow Nigeria, group sign pact

Bristow Helicopters Nigeria Limited has entered into a new technical services agreement with its shareholders and world-leading provider of helicopter services, the Bristow Group. A statement by the company on Friday said that the agreement was signed at the board meeting of the BHNL held in Lagos. The agreement was signed on behalf of the Bristow Group by the Senior Vice-President (Operations), Mr. Richard Burman. Burman said that the detailed agreement, covering the provision of world-leading aviation and technical support to the local company, showed the long-term commitment of the group to Nigeria. The Chairman, Board of Directors, Chief Ademola Edu, Bristow Nigeria, who signed on behalf of the company, said that the signing of the TSA was a major milestone in the 54 years history of the company in Nigeria. He added that it was an important step towards adapting the local operating company in meeting the aims and requirements of the Nigeria oil and gas industrys Local Content Law. Bristow Helicopters Nigeria Limited has also in its quest towards providing up-to-date information about the Nigerian company and its business activities in the country inaugurated its own dedicated website.
