Ojukwu was fond of picking a wife everywhere he went - Cousin

Since the death of the Ikemba Nnewi, Chief Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, many commentaries have been made about his life and times. But when our correspondent in Nnewi, CYPRIAN EBELE, went in search of members of the Ojukwu family, and visiting his ancestral home, he found a fresh ground. For instance, a first cousin to the deceased, Chief Ude Ojukwu, had something to say about Ojukwu's passion for women and some strategies that were devised during the Biafra Civil War. Another cousin, Nwachukwu Ezekiel Chukwuma, spoke about how Ikemba seldom visited the family's ancestral home during the civil war, while one of his Personal Assistants, Juventus Osita Maduagwu, chipped in some words on how the immediate family of the Igbo leader coped while the Ikemba was on the sick bed.
