Akande, right choice for Crown's job

THE appointment of Niyi Akande as the Club Manager of Crown FC of Ogbomoso has been descibed as a step in the right direction.Oyo state government on Friday announced the appointment of the former IICC Shooting Stars player for the job, a development which some of the club followers and players have applauded.Media officer of the club, Kunle Oyeleye while reacting to the appointment of Akande said the state government made the right choice in the former Super Falcons coach.Speaking with Tribunesports, the Crown spokesman said Akande, who until recent development was the technical adviser of the club has what it takes to occupy that position on the ground that he knows virtually everything about the team."Baba's choice by the governent is perfect, he has been part of the club, he knows the in and out of the club and I believe he will use his vast knowledge about the team and football generally to transform the club."Oyeleye revealed that players and supporters of the club were pleased with the appointment of Akande, regarding him as the right man to lead the club to the promised land.
