Copa Lagos 2011 organiser promises global audience

ORGANISER of the Copa Lagos 2011 Beach Soccer Championship, Kinetic Sports, has covered what appears to be every angle to make sure that connoisseurs of the game see the championship worldwide.According to Kinetic Sports, SuperSport has been contracted as the main producer for the event that gets underway next weekend, just as notable organisations have keyed in to the championship.According to release by Kinetic Sports, Supersport would have exclusive live coverage, studio at the VIP stand as well as expert analysis coming directly from the elegant stadium itself, while AIT, as national official partner, would broadcast the event into the homes of Nigerians all over the country.'Indeed, the full coverage of Copa Lagos extends to 250 million households globally and live/delayed coverage on over 21 international channels,' the release read. 'Sponsors are set to enjoy the global exposure their brands will receive.'It added that the tourney could be viewed in the Americas through Fox Sports, Asia via ESPN Star Sports, Middle East (Art/Al-Jazeera), Pan-European (Eurosports), England (Sky/ESPN (UK), France (Direct 8), Australia- (SBS), Germany (DSF). Beach Soccer fans in Greece could watch the games on CONN-Xsports, Israeli fans through Charlton, just as the games would be accessible to Italians via RAI Sport, while the Netherlands could follow the events through Eredivise.It added that the games would be available to Portuguese audience through Sport TV, Romanians through BOOM Sport one and Russia through RTR Sport/NTV Sport. South American audience are expected to follow the games through TYC, while Canal Sport/TVC/Canal 9 (Spain), Sports TV (Turkey), Lumiere TV (Cyprus), and TV Globo (Brazil) will also take live feeds of the matches.It added that popular television station, SoundCity, would cover all side events at Copa Lagos, including the fashion show, exclusive activities in the VIP lounge, red carpet and the concerts lined up as part of the event.
