Yuletide: Amaechi re-assures Rivers people on security

As Christians prepare for the Christmas celebration, Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State has reassured Rivers people of his administration's readiness to clamp down on armed robbers and put an end to the recent surge in criminality in Port Harcourt, the capital, and other parts of the state.To achieve this, Amaechi said the Army would be deployed to work with the police on the streets of Port Harcourt .Amaechi stated this yesterday in Port Harcourt at a thanksgiving service organised in his honour and Supreme Court Justice, Mrs. Mary Odili, by the Catholic Diocese of Port Harcourt at the Corpus Christi Cathedral Church in Port Harcourt.
