Jonathan presents 2012 budget to NASS today

President Goodluck Jonathan will today present the 2012 Appropriation Bill to the National Assembly.The Senate President, David Mark, made this known during the plenary through a letter he read on the floor.President Jonathan had sent a letter informing the Senate about the presentation scheduled for today.Deputy Speaker, Honourable Emeka Ihedioha, also read a letter sent to the National Assembly by President Jonathan on the floor to that effect.The letter, dated December 7 and received same day, reads: 'I crave the kind indulgence of the National Assembly to grant me the slot of 12 noon, Tuesday, December 13, 2011 to formally address a joint session of the National Assembly on the 2012 Budget'While I thank the Distinguished Members of the Senate of the Federal Republic for your steadfast cooperation and understanding, please accept Distinguished Senate President the assurance of my highest consideration.
