Copa Lagos Beach Soccer gulps N160m

THE organisation and erection of the stadium for the Copa Lagos Beach Soccer scheduled to hold in Lagos betweenDecember 16 and 18 has gulped over 1million dollars.Also,the organisers have announced its readiness to host the 4-nation tourney aimed at encouraging the game in the country.Speaking with Tribunesports, Samson Adamu, the brain behind the competition said that the facilities for the competitions were in place and that they were ready to host a hitch free competition.He also disclosed that, the mini stadium will sit 2,500 spectators, a hall for fashion show during the event, and that top musicians will entertain on each day of the event.Speaking further, Adamu informed that teams from England, South Africa and Brazil will hit Lagos on Wednesday.''I want to categorically inform you that we are fully ready and the construction as well as organisation have gulped over a million dollars, and I think we are fully ready to host a hitch free event'', he added..He further explained that the competition was to allow players who cannot play football earn a living through beach soccer and also give room for beach soccer league in the country.
