Eagle 'll be better under Keshi - Etafia

SOUTH Africa based Nigerian goalkeeper Greg Etafia has said the Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi is a suitable person for the job, even as he expressed optimism that Nigeria will soon regian its place in African and World football.The former Lobi Stars goalie said in an interview with supersports.com that the country had already taken the right step to rediscover the fading glory of the Super Eagles with the appointment of the ex-Anderlecht of Belgium libero as the Eagles' head coach.Speaking about the former Super Eagles skipper, Etafia said having someone like him as the Eagles coach will definitely earn Nigeria positive results due to his experience."I think the coach they have got now is a suitable candidate for the job as he has played for many years with the Nigeria national team and he has acquired enough knowledge as a player and coach."On the poor performance of the Eagles in recent times, Etafia said: "I believe that everyone is trying to win, but sometimes things do not work out the way you expect them to and I guess it was the same situation with Nigeria.'He added: "Do bear in mind that things have changed now; the smaller countries out there are gunning for wins against the big sides. So they make it a lot more difficult than in past years.'The Maroka Swallows of South Africa goaltender, who said Nigeria will soon get back to winning ways also spoke on his future with the Nigerian side, saying. "I want to play more regular international football.
