Petinrin reads riot act to troublemakers in Plateau

Piqued by the recentbomb explosion inJos, Plateau State and the threat by some groups to disrupt the prevailing peace in the state, the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Vice Chief Marshal Oluseyi Petinrin, has read the riot act to those behind the threat saying 'a line has been drawn. We wait expectantly for those who will dare to cross it.'The Chief of Defence Staff, who made the statement while addressing newsmen in Jos, shortly after inspecting the two football viewing centres rocked by explosion over the weekend, said the reason for planting the explosives in such places was to provoke the people and stir up another crisis in the state.'For example three days ago, these evil people planted IEDs where innocent and law abiding people were watching a football match. They murdered a man in cold blood to further their evil agenda. What this godless people want is for the people on the Plateau to begin to point accusing fingers at themselves and start to fight and kill themselves,' he said.He, therefore, urged the people of the state not to fall for the trick but come together to make progress and be security conscious.
