Industrialist bemoans multiple taxation

THE Federal Government has been tasked to put machinery in motion to check multiple taxation in order to assist upcoming entrepreneurs achieve their target and in turn enhance national growth.According to Prince Adewale Adeniyi, an industrialist/managing director of Adekass Technical Services Limited, who made the appeal recently in Akute, Ogun State, at the commissioning of the company's Caterpillar Standard five-Star Service Workshop, said that the government should as a matter of urgency, address the issue of multiple taxation as it stood as impediment to the nation's growth.His words: 'I wish to solicit that the government both at the local, state and federal levels assist upcoming entrepreneurs in achieving their aims, because they actively assist the government in achieving its responsibility to the citizenry. The issue of multiple taxation also needs to be addressed as this stands as impediment to our growth. Adekass will continue to try its best to face the challenges as much as it can. As I used to say, in order to provide employment opportunity to many school leavers, our company will continue to adhere to this policy of creating job opportunities.
