Eagles, Bafana Bafana meet February 29

THE Super Eagles will meet South Africa's Bafana Bafana in Johannesburg on February 29, 2012 in a friendly game aimed at keeping both sides in shape for the challenges of the new year.While South Africa is using such friendly game to keep its team in shape as it prepares to host the 2013 Africa Nations Cup, it will serve to fine tune the Super Eagles for the qualifiers against Rwanda in the second round of the qualifiers.According to a release by South Africa Football Association (SAFA), Bafana Bafana will also play Equatorial Guinea (away), India (home), Zambia (home) and Ghana (home) between January 5 and 15.The friendly matches would also be used by coach Pitso Mosimane to look at his options ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers that start in June.
