Jonathan: 2012 'll be tough

WITH a clear tone, President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday told Nigerians to brace up to a challenging fiscal year in 2012 because of some tough decisions that will be taken by the Federal Government to manage the country's finances prudently.While presenting the N4.749 trillion 2012 Budget to a joint sitting of the National Assembly in Abuja, Jonathan declared that the path to economic recovery for the country would not be easy 'but with a sharp focus, hard work, determination and making careful choices, we will overcome'He told the large crowd consisting lawmakers, ministers and top government officials: 'This budget is a stepping-stone to the transformation of our economy and country in our walk to economic freedom. This esteemed Assembly would agree that this path would neither be easy nor uncontested; but with a sharp focus, hard work, determination and making careful choices we will overcome.
