Setraco tennis serves off

The Setraco Junior Tennis tournament has served off in Abuja with over 300 players participating in the clinic which is expected to produce emerging talents in the game.The Managing Director, Setraco Nigeria Limited, Michael Hachenberg said on Tuesday that the objective and vision was to develop Nigerian children in sports.According to him, the game would feature classes of players in U-16, U-14, U-12 and U-10 categories, adding that the clinic would not only develop the sporting skills of the participants, but keep the children positively busy during the holiday.He charged the coaching team led by the clinic coordinator, Mr. Rotimi Akinloye, a national tennis coach, to ensure that the children are transformed into national and international champions.The first edition of the tennis clinic sponsored by the construction firm had produced national and international junior tennis players including Edward Christopher, Tswako Sadiq, Mohammed Mohammed and Samuel Miracle who represented Nigeria at the African Junior Championship and West African Regional qualifying events.
