TUC, student berate FG

The Chairman of the Trade Union Congress in Ekiti State, Mr. Kolawole Olaiya, has berated the Federal Government for removing fuel subsidy.A student of the Ekiti State University, Mr. Collins Akinyemi, who described the removal as governments insensitivity to the plight of average Nigerians, said the nations refineries ought to have been made to function at optimal level before implementing this policy.Olaiya said this in an interview with our correspondent in Ado-Ekiti on Wednesday.He said the removal of the subsidy would worsen the standard of living of the masses in the country.He said,"Things are general hard and many Nigerians find it very difficult to eat even once in a day and with this now, I dont know how they want the masses to service."
