Ajimobi tasks journalists on objective reports

OYO State Governor Abiola Ajimobi has charged media practitioners in the country to use the powers of the pen to ensure the growth and development of the society.He also urged them to ensure balanced, factual and objective reporting of events, in order to build a good image for the country.Ajimobi, who spoke after his investiture as the Grand Patron of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), 'B' Zone, comprising six states of Oyo, Osun, Ondo, Ekiti, Kwara and Kogi at the NUJ Press Centre, Ibadan, said journalists should make honesty and sincerity their watchwords in the performance of their duties.According to a statement, the governor solicited the support and cooperation of media practitioners in Oyo State for his administration in its efforts at repositioning, transforming and reforming the state.
