Bada: Amike heads burial committee

A 15-man committee has been set up for the burial of the late Olympian, Sunday Bada.The burial committee headed by President of the Nigeria Olympians Association, Henry Amike, has representatives of the Bada family, the Nigeria Police Force, the Athletic Federation of Nigeria, the National Sports Commission and the Nigeria Olympic Committee. Badas home state, Kogi and Lagos, where he spent most of his adult life are to be represented by a member each.At a meeting of the friends of the late athlete in Lagos on Thursday, Amike was appointed to lead the burial committee whileTHISDAY newspaper Group Sports Editor, Duro Ikhazuagbe, was appointed as the secretary.The committee also has AFN Secretary Maria Wophil, Olympic gold medallist Chioma Ajunwa, Christopher Majuk as members.
