It's a rude shock -Oyo SWAN

THE Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Oyo State chapter has described the death of foremost athlete, Sunday Bada as a big loss to the country.The association in a release jointly signed by its vice chairman, Seun Ajayi-Obe and Public Relations Officer (PRO), Tosin Omojola, expressed shock and sadness over the demise of the Police superintendent who died on Monday in Lagos."The death of Bada came as a rude shock to us going by the fact that he left at a time his vast experience and committment to the success of Nigerian athletes were needed most."While still in shock over his death, we take solace in the fact that Bada died as a hero having left indelible mark on the athletic scene both at home and abroad. We pray that God will grant his gentle soul eternal rest,'' stated the association.
