She paid for it. Mrs Idris chewed the gum vigorously and did not think she was biting off more than she could chew.But the aphrodisiac almost spelt disaster. Mrs Idris did not find herself in her husbands loving arms but in the clammy arms of death. Herbalist Garkab is being prosecuted for allegedly preparing a potentially lethal aphrodisiac. One of Mrs Idriss relations went to the police and Garkab was charged with false and harmful promotion of a product, to wit her come-closer chewing gum. The case is being heard by the Kasuwan Nama Upper Area Court, Jos.MRS Idris did it for love, but she was almost out of lifes door.
