Oluyole LG organises revenue stakeholders' consultative forum

In pursuance of its mandate, the newly inaugurated Oluyole Local Government Resources Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Committee (REMAF-Committee OLG) is organising a one-day, stakeholders consultative forum to generate ideas from all the key segments/sectors and non-state actors of the local government on how to move the council forward.The forum will serve as an interactive platform for cross-fertilisation of ideas on how to fast-track sustainable socio-economic development of the local government, using non-oil resources.A release signed by the committee secretary, Mr M.O. Ladele, enjoined all representatives of major companies, business and non-governmental organisations, faith and community based associations, women groups, youth organisations, trade unions, farmers and artisans to be punctual at the event-which will hold at the local government secretariat, Idi-Ayunre, on Thursday, 22nd December, 2011.The release further stated that the event will be declared open at 10.00 a.m. by the Oyo State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Peter Odetomi.
