Group treats 5,588 patients in Kogi

NO fewer than 5,588 people in Kogi state have received free medical care in the state, provided by Cedio Medical Outreach Organisation in conjunction with Nigeria Aviation Support Group.Under the scheme, people suffering from various medical problems, were treated.The coordinator of the group, Dr (Mrs) Ify Okatahi, said out of the beneficiaries, 1,210 were treated in Dekina, 622 in Mopa, 813 in Adavi and 2, 293 in Ochadamu in Ofu local government area of the state.She also mentioned that patients were treated for various medical cases ranging from general surgey, eye surgery, diabetes and hypertension.She said that no life was lost during the period.The free medical care programme was initiated by the Nigeria Aviation Group of Wada/Awoniyi campaign project which was tailored at addressing the health needs of the people in the state.
