We'll complete all abandoned housing projects soon - Ogun govt

The Ogun State government has approved the completion of all uncompleted housing projects by the immediate past administration in furtherance of its commitment to boost housing delivery.The state Commissioner for Housing, Mr Daniel Adejobi, said this during an interactive session with journalists in Abeokuta recently, saying that the Ibikunle Amosun led-government would complete the projects spread across the state and hand them over to prospective owners.The commissioner, therefore, urged the prospective buyers who had deposited money for the houses to complete payment in order to take possession at completion. He explained that his ministry would use direct labour to complete the projects, adding that employment opportunities would be provided for artisans and the unemployed in the process.According to him, creation of employment was part of the focus of the Amosun led-government and the ministry of housing would leave no stone unturned to participate in doing this.
