If taken in too high concentrations, nausea can be experienced or one can feel queasy, so please stick to the right concentration.Some people take a short spray of colloidal silver first thing in the morning as prophylaxis, in the past I even recommended it but today I advise against it because your immune system is generally responsible for fighting pathogens so if you use any prophylaxis on a permanent basis you gradually weaken your immune system and prevent it from utmost exertion which is what it needs to keep strong.So please use colloidal silver only when your body can no longer cope with fighting the pathogens, which is when you become ill. Some colloidal silver opponents draw people's attention to the risk of argyria, which is a non-regressionable gray discolouration of the skin due to silver deposition. However this is not true of colloidal silver. Argyria has only been found to occur in persons who take high doses of silver salts or silver proteins but colloidal silver is produced by electrolytic process using pure natural 925 silver.According to the cytologist (cell biologist) Dr. Joseph Pies an average of 3.8g daily of particle silver over some years is needed to cause Argyria. This corresponds to an intake of 375 litres (3750 bottles of the 100ml bottle) of a 10ppm concentration or 150 litres (1500 bottles of the 100ml bottle) of a 25ppm concentration per day to suffer from argyria as a result of the use of colloidal silver. I am not aware that any reasonable person takes such outrageous quantities of colloidal silver daily. The discovery of colloidal silver is a precious gift to mankind. Rather than fighting this gift we should be filled with gratitude.There is in existence cheaply produced imitations of colloidal silver using simple batteries and salt solutions, or instruments that do not take the water quality and temperature into consideration and which do not automatically switch off when the programmed ppm concentrations have been released into the electrolyte. Such preparations can lead to over dosage, contaminations and uncontrolled silver compounds.
