WAEC opens liaison office in Abuja

AS a part of its desire to bring its services closer to stakeholders in the education sector, the West African examinations Council (WAEC) has opened a liaison office in Abuja.A Senior Assistant Registrar with the Council, Mr. Olufemi Oke, while confirming the opening of the office, told The Guardian during the National Strategic meeting of the four-year rolling plan of the Federal Ministry of Education in Abuja, that the office was opened because Gwagwalada, which is currently serving as the Zonal office of WAEC, was too far off from most of the people who want to enjoy the Council's services.'It is a way of bringing our services closer to the stakeholders, parents and student who are in the FCT,' he explained.
