Unveiling of Olympics clock countdown holds Dec 31

THE unveiling of the Olympics Clock countdown ahead of the London 2012 Olympics Games will hold on December 31 at Muri Okunola street, Victoria Island, Lagos.The Nigeria Olympic Committee(NOC) event put together by IMPC Limited, partner of the Nigeria Olympic Committee, NOC, to the London 2012 Olympics is aimed at celebrating the country's participation at the games.Goke Dokun, Chief Executive officer, IMPC Limited speaking yesterday at the NOC Secretariat, Lagos, the committee said that the Clock countdown will also be used to celebrate the country's 60 years of participating at the Olympic games and to showcase the cultural heritage of the country.The unveiling which is expected to attract top dignitaries. in sports circles will also have top musicians in attendance and cultural display."What we are trying to do with the Olympic Clock countdown was to commence counting of dates to the games and to celebrate the NOC's 60 years of participation at the games which will also be used to showcase the country's cultural values to the outside world. It promises to be exciting", he said.
