Olympics clock to be unveiled

Ahead of the London 2012 Olympic Games, an Olympic clock will be unveiled on Sunday on Muri Okunola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.The event will mark countdown to the Games and it is being packaged by IMPC Limited for the Nigeria Olympic Committee. It is also aimed at celebrating Nigerias 60 years of participation at the Games.Chief Executive Officer of IMPC, Goke Dokun, said the ceremony would also be used to unveil First Bank PLC as the official banker of the NOC. He added that top sports personalities would be present at the event."What we are trying to do with the Olympic Clock countdown was to commence counting of days to the games and to celebrate Nigerian athletes.
