Agege's railway: Area boys, beggars take over

It should be railway tracks, where transportation of human and goods would be made convenient. Not so for the railway tracks in Agege ;ocal government area of the state.The tracks are fast becoming beggars' choicest place, refuse dumping ground, Indian hemp den and toilets for residents who have none.A visit to the tracks, just few kilometers to the local council, by the Nigerian Compass on Sunday, revealed the lack of proper regulation of movement and usage of the railway tracks by the people in the area. Hence, the sorry state of the place.While beggars were seen on both sides of the tracks to beg for arms, market men and women, artisans with various goods also displayed their wares for prospective buyers.
