Bayern Munich eased into the quarter-finals of the Champions League with a 7-0 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk, who had Oleksandr Kucher sent off after just three minutes. With the game locked at 0-0 following the first leg, Shakhtar's task went from tough to near-impossible after Kucher was dismissed by Scottish referee Willie Collum for tripping Mario Gotze in the area when he was racing towards goal. It was the quickest red card in the history of the Champions League.
