The Nation Needs Serious Prayers

Published by Guardian on Mon, 26 Dec 2011

THE state of insecurity in the country is, indeed, very worrisome. Nobody can claim to be safe in any part of the country anymore. Yes, the government is working hard to contain the situation, but more needs to be done before the whole nation is consumed.Terrorists have surely penetrated the security network and they are determined to wreak more serious havocs. We must continue to pray, and ask countries, like Israel, Britain, and the US to assist with intelligence, training, equipment, etc. We must move very fast about it.We started warning about the seriousness of the situation since last year. Remember my article, 'Nigeria: Rumbling in the Spirit', first published in The Guardian, November 7, 2010, and later repeated with the title: 'Why The King Must Depend On God' on February 27, 2011; and 'That Poison Plot', after some suspects were eventually arrested for allegedly plotting to poison President Jonathan.I believe that that initial prophecy is still relevant and helpful, and I wish to repeat it here:'I see, in the spirit, a heavy, continuous and rumbustious wave against our king and the nation. They want to 'poison' the king. I repeat. There is an imminent plot to 'poison' the king.'There are series of evil plots against the king. When one fails, they immediately start considering the next option. The ultimate aim is certain ' to stop the king from occupying the throne. They believe it's their turn to be there.'Now, let the king not sleep with both eyes closed, because the plots are real and the enemies are well determined and capable. It is only God and the application of divine wisdom that will save him. The plot, which I see in the spirit, is very strong.'Listen, listen and listen! They are plotting (among others) to 'poison' you. I saw you suddenly declared dead. Look at your obituary being announced on the television. It was a mysterious death, a very sad one, indeed. It is imminent! May God stop it!'Sure, this is not the only plan against the king, but it is the most current one that I see in the spirit. There are others. There is a plan to unleash religious violence on the whole kingdom. I see everywhere in chaos.'They will stop people and ask what they believe, and if your belief is not the same as theirs, they will behead you immediately. It was not a good sight to behold ' blood, tears and sorrow everywhere.'Others are not yet very open to me. I will also declare them as they come. But don't rule out a coup. Have a continuous reshuffle and intelligence monitoring of the kingdom's guards (including the king's guards).'Don't trust anybody now and watch your back continuously. It is a Herculean task, but that is the price of your mission, to free the nation and the people from decades of captivity.'Please, I repeat, please, be eternally vigilant, for you are dealing with very dangerous vipers ' venomous, patient, satanic, strong, rich, evil geniuses and very subtle. They will use everything at their disposal to fight you, even if it means importing instruments. Be very decisive in dealing with them now. Be warned! But don't be afraid.'Now, you must trust, rely and come to God as King Jehoshaphat did when he was threatened by three enemy nations. He called a fast and prayed to the Almighty God, the God of Israel. ''Now, see how they reward us! For they have come to throw us out of your inheritance. O our God, won't you stop them' We are powerless against this mighty army that is about to attack us. We do not know what to do, but we are looking to you for help.'This is in 2Chr 20:1.1'The pains we are about to go through, if God does not intervene, are all avoidable. Just for a little sacrifice, compromise and negotiation. But they wouldn't make them.'Let us all go into serious prayers for the nation. Pray that God would disperse this thick cloud over our country, in Jesus' name. Amen!Pastor Gabriel Agbo, is of the Assemblies of God Nigeria
