Otunba Ibikunle Foundation launches YADI

IT was a day of joy as the Otunba Ayinde Ibikunle Foundation launched the Yewa Arts Development Initiatives (YADI), at a well-attended ceremony, held at the Gateway Multipurpose Hall, Empire Field, Ilaro Yewa, Ogun State, on Tuesday, March 3, 2015. The launching, which witnessed the announcement of numerous programmes such as practical workshops, seminars and symposiums, was targeted at empowering youths in the society.In his remarks, the Royal Patron of YADI, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle, Asade Agunloye IV, Olu Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewa, appreciated the efforts of the Otunba Ibikunle Foundation, towards providing entrepreneurial opportunities for youths in secondary schools, school leavers, graduates, etc.The event also witnessed the presentation of art materials and registration of youths in entrepreneurial skill acquisition in programmes including, painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, textile/fashion, creative writing, music, theatre, craft, among others.
