CISLAC, IDMC capacity building will enhance ratification of Kampala Convention, says Beck

Kim Mancini Beck, Senior training and legal officer of Internal Displacement Monitoring Center (IDMC) at a multi stakeholders international workshop on Internal Displaced Persons (IDPs), organised by Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Center (CISLAC) in collaboration with IDMC in Abuja has declared that only continuous capacity building for NGOs, CSOs and Government agents would ensure sustainable solutions to long-term problems of internally displaced persons, poverty, hunger, illiteracy and ill-health in Nigeria In an interview with the Nigerian Compass, she insist that the IDMC two days mission to Nigeria was to support stakeholders in CSOs, NGOs and Government actors to build their knowledge and their skills and capacity to be able to stand international standard in line with the Kampala Convention.
