A staff of Kaduna Polytechnic, his wife and two children were killed in the early hours of Saturday morning when fire engulfed their home located at Kabala Doki area of Kaduna metropolis.Eyewitness told Sunday Tribune that the only survivor was the deceased's six-year-old daughter, while his wife, Hadiza and two of their children, Khalifa and Sadiq, died in the incident.According to a source, the late Abdullahi Musa had indicated his desire to pack from the house when the tragedy happened.'He told me last week that he was trying to get a house in one of the polytechnic quarters, not knowing that death was around the corner.'It was learnt that all the members of the family were sleeping in the same room when the fire started.His neighbours, it was discovered, made spirited effort to save them, but the fire was so intense that it prevented them from entering the building.A nephew of the deceased, Kamar Abdulahi, who spoke with Sunday Tribune, described the late Abdullahi as his father, saying only Allah knew the cause of the fire.'He is my father's junior brother, and I have lived with them since I was two years old.
