National security threat

Boko Haram has confined its destruction to the North-East of Nigeria. Gombe State should be on red alert. The Federal Government budget for security for 2012 is much, but that is not all. We are always told the security agencies are on top of the situation, but we must equip them with the state of the art combat armoury and ict equipment. Networking among the security forces is indispensable as they should be able to monitor and share info on the movement and operations of the Boko Haram members. The gsm firms should download information to the forces on the threats to the nation. What is scary about Boko Haram is that they are all not Nigerians. Their mindless destruction confirms it. Our forces should be able to buy useful information about them if possible. Recall that it took the usa over two years of coordinated, secret networking to nail Osama bin Laden in Pakistan.
