VINCENT Enyeama says the New Year will be critical for him as he decides career future. The Nigerian goalkeeper is yet to start any game in the 17 weeks of French Ligue One, no thanks to the dominance of Mikael Landreau and with Nigeria's coach Stephen Keshi threatening to shut the door of the Super Eagles on benchwarmers, Enyeama is no taking chances.''I can't say I regret coming to Lille,'' Enyeama, rated best goalie in the Isreali League last year when playing for Hapoel Tel Aviv told Football24.com.''I knew what it could be like but in January I hope to do the best for myself, I need to be in action, if you are not playing, you are forgotten. I can't take anything for granted, I am Nigerian international and I have to keep the flag flying.''Enyeama lost his first choice rating in Nigeria after falling out with former Nigerian coach, Samson Siasia. He has been recalled by Keshi but has shared the goalkeeping duty with Austin Ejide in Nigeria's recent friendly games against Botswana and Zambia. When asked if he plans to leave Lille, Enyeama noted that it would be disrepectful to discuss such.''It does not necessarily mean a move, it could be a discussion with the coaching crew to know what lies ahead, the club is very important, so also are we players.''Enyeama joined Lille in June 2011 for an undisclosed fee on a three year contract. He played his one and only game against Inter Milan in October in the 2012 UEFA Champions League group stage.Meanwhile,REAL Madrid coach Jose Mourinho, Sir Alex Ferguson as well as Arsene Wenger are the coaches Nigeria handler Stephen Keshi looks up to.Former Mali and Togo handler Keshi has named the three top coaches as his coaching role models and said, 'I will borrow the good aspects from these three world-class coaches and I'm sure I will eventually become like them.'The Nigeria coach said as a player former Eagles skipper Christian Chukwu was his role model.'Chukwu will play for 90 minutes without making a wrong pass or committing a foul. I tried to be like him and I eventually became like him on the pitch of play,' Keshi said.
