Welfare of my people, my priority

The people of Ibarapa Central Local Government area of Oyo State have been assured of better standard of living, improved social services, eradication of poverty and provision of employment.The assurance was given by the caretaker committee chairman of the council, Mr. Yemi Akinlabi in Igboora while distributing items such as motorcycles, grinding machines and others materials for the unemployed youths in the council area.He remarked that he embarked on the project to complement the efforts of Oyo state government in poverty reduction and job creation and in fulfilment of Senator Abiola Ajimobi's electioning campaign promises to the people of the council area.Hon. Akinlabi further encouraged the beneficiaries to make maximum use of the opportunity to improve their economic status.He assured them that the gesture was just the begining of new things to happen and urged them to give maximum support to Governor Ajimobi.He used the opportunity to highlight some of his achievements which included grading of some existing roads, opening of new roads, construction of public toilets, distribution of exercise books to both primary and secondary school in the local government among others.
