Calling NASSU's attention

LET me bring the plight of the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) workers to the attention of National Association of Senior Staff Union (NASSU). The six months arrears recently paid other institutions that belong to the association were not fully implemented by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board(JAMB). Instead of paying us six months arrears like every other affected institutions, the chief executive only paid us five months, making it look as if that was what was paid by the Federal Government.This development negates the principles of equity and fair play. It is getting to over a year now that we were shortchanged. The branch union of the association should be investigated because their actions run contrary to the welfare of staff.On this note, I am calling on the president of NASSU, to please, assist the staff in getting what rightly belongs to them.Please, JAMB, pay us the remaining one month.Miss Debby Kelly,Wuse 2, Abuja.
