Firm gets Law School's Biometrics contract

IN a bid to improve the quality of legal education for future lawyers in Nigeria, the Nigerian Law School in conjunction with the Education Trust Fund (ETF) has awarded the supply and installation of Biometrics Access Control Infrastructure contract to Ademak Global Consulting Nigeria Limited (AGCNL).The project, which spans across campuses, will run throughout year 2012. The design of the Access control and Time and Attendance system designed and developed by Ademak Global Consulting meets the required specifications stipulated by the authority of the Nigerian Law School in terms of Law students' identification, recording students' attendance, access restriction to designated areas within campuses, creation of student's biometric database and creation of students' activity logs.A statement from AGCNL stressed that this modern technology would be able to match relevant bio-data information supplied to ascertain the authenticity of student's identification and also to verify that the ID card presented as proof of that identity is valid and recognised by the school authority.This, AGCNL noted is paramount to the integrity of the school's qualification system in this era of globalisation and Information Technology while maintaining a secure learning environment for the future lawyers.According to AGCNL's Managing Director, Mr. Ade Omole, 'Ademak Global Consulting is a first-tier IT Solutions provider dedicated to empowering businesses and governmental institutions with advanced and latest technology within the framework of global best practices.AGCNL provides large, medium and small sized entities with cost-effective, scalable, fault tolerant and future-proof infrastructure solutions.
