Anambra commends indigenes abroad on community growth

THE Anambra State House of Assembly has commended the humanitarian efforts of the state's indigenes living in the United States of America (USA) who had over the years donated relief materials and rendered free services back home.The Anambra State Association-United States of America (ASA- USA) led by its President, Allison Anadi, got the commendation during a courtesy visit to the Assembly before it adjourned for the Yuletide holidays.In turn, the ASA-USA also commended the legislators for what Anadi described as their 'unwavering support' for the organisation during its 2011 Mission to the state in August and their convention last October.The Assembly would resume on January 10 for the budget defence sessions.
