Buhari kicks as S'Court affirms Jonathan's victory

THE Supreme Court, in a unanimous ruling by a seven-member bench yesterday, dismissed the appeal filed by the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) and its presidential candidate in the April general elections, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), challenging the victory of President Goodluck Jonathan, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate.But, in a swift reaction, Buhari rejected the judgement, saying it was the worst ever given by the apex court.The apex court affirmed the decision of the Court of Appeal Abuja, which upheld Jonathan's victory.
