3SC has not appointed Alphonsus Dike -Adepoju

CLUB manager of 3SC, Mutiu Adepoju has debunked report that coach Alphonsus Dike has been contracted for the Oluyole Warriors.Dike, the immediate past coach of Enugu Rangers, was reported widely to have been grabbed by the Ibadan-based side for the 2011/2012 NPL season.But in a stout denial of the purported hiring of the former Golden Eaglets coach, Adepoju told SuperSport.com that the report was 100 percent untrue."Nothing of such has taken place, so we can't talk of confirmation because there is absolutely nothing like that."It's mere rumour and I am amazed how people will go to town with an unsubstantiated information without cross-checking it with the appropriate authority."3SC has not contracted any coach including coach Alphonsus Dike."We have series of coaches on the line we had discussions with, Dike is one of them."A shortlist has been done and sent to the governor whose approval is being awaited."We're expecting his approval any moment from now," declared the former General Manager.However, contacted over Adepoju's comments, coach Dike confirmed that he read the report as no official contact has been made to him.
