Fawehinmi's wife warns against oil subsidy removal

WIFE of the late human rights lawyer, Mrs Ganiat Bukola Fawehinmi, has warned President Goodluck Jonathan against the removal of oil subsidy, saying, 'it would unleash untold hardship on the masses of Nigeria.'Mrs Fawehinmi described the development as inhuman and unpopular and charged the government to desist fromdoing so.She argued that curently, the Nigerians could barely afford the necessities of life when the pump price of petrol is N65, asking that 'what will now be the level of sustenance when the price is N137 per litre''She said: 'It's the masses that will suffer as a result of the increase in the pump price of petrol.
