Rep plans to distribute poverty alleviation materials

A member of theHouse of Representatives and a stalwart of the Accord Party (AP), Honourable Adeoye Waheed Adeniyi, has told people of his constituency to expect poverty alleviation materials and empowerment packages on the new year day.The lawmaker, in a press release sent to Community News, explained that there was going to be a special get-together with the people of Ibadan North East Constituency II, adding that the meeting would be a special gathering because the event would also feature the distribution of poverty alleviation materials to the selected members of my constituency,' he stated.According to him, the poverty alleviation materials were put in place in order to show appreciation to God and the people of the local government Area who gave me their mandate to represent them at the legislative house,' he emphasised.The lawmaker further explained that leader of Accord Party (AP) in Oyo State and former governor, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, would be the special guest at the occasion.Also expected at the special event, which would take place on New Year day include the state chairman of Accord Party (AP) Honourable Bashiru Aremu Lawal, Honourable (Dr) Bukola Ajaja who is also a member of House of Representatives representing Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency and Honourable Kehinde Oloya, representing Ibadan North-East State Constituency I, as well as the chairman of the party in the local government, Mr Joseph Omolere, among others.
