FIFCO appoints Eke as Nigerias representative

THE International Federation of Corporate Football (FIFCO) has appointed Mr. Kelechi Eke of Extreme Sports International Limited as its franchise holder for the country for the next four years.An agreement to that effect was signed recently between Eke and FIFCO in Montreal, Canada.According Femi Abioye, a member of the Nigeria Federation of Corporate Football (NFCF), Eke was appointed in order to propagate FIFCOs values and promote corporate football leagues, tournament and events on African soil while encouraging more African countries to become members of the African Confederation of Corporate Football (ACCF).Abioye, in a release  made available on Monday said Lagos  will be the seat of ACCF Secretariat whose agenda is to build a united corporate football family on all African member states that will organise football league and tournaments designed to meet all levels of competitive and recreational football skills for men and women in the following category; Soccer 11s, Soccer 7s, FUTSAL 5s and Beach Soccer 5s.Eke, who also doubles as President; Nigeria Federation of Corporate Football informed that the major aim of the Nigeria Federation is to promote virile corporate football leagues, regulate the game with modified rules and format in line with FIFCO standards, produce champion who will project their company brand internationally while representing Nigeria at both ACCF and FIFCO International events.The formal unveiling of the management and board member of the NFCF has been tentatively fixed for June 2011, jus as consultations are ongoing with all the organisers of corporate games in both public and private sector of the country to constitute the board of the federation.
