Babatunde Raji Fashola: Before Night Falls

Pius Adesanmi, a social commentator and professor of Comparative Literature at the Pennsylvania State University, USA writes that 'It has been one bad news after one uncomfortable news since (Babatunde Raji) Fashola started his second term' as governor of Lagos State.I am reproducing an old essay this week for good reason. I first published 'Babatunde Fashola: the Loner of Sodom'' in 2008 when I initially began to pay serious attention to the incumbent Governor of Lagos state. If a week is a lifetime in politics, as the saying goes, Babatunde Fashola has had plenty of political lifetimes since I initially penned the article in question.
