Kurmi LG boss tasks committee members

The caretaker chairman of Kurmi Local Government Area of Taraba State, Honorable Daniel Garba, has charged the newly appointed vice chairman and 10 supervisory  councillors to be loyal and work as a team for the development of the council.Garba, who stated this while performing the swearing-in ceremony in Baissa, the administrative headquarters of the council, urged the new appointees to be hardworking and ready to accept constructive criticisms aimed at propelling the local government to greater heights.The chairman, who promised to run an open-door administration, emphasised that concerted efforts would be made towards harnessing the abundant natural potentials of the area.According to the chairman, the move would assist to boost the revenue base of the local government.Responding on behalf of his colleagues, the councillor representing Didan ward, Mr Danladi Tukura, promised to give their maximum support to the current administration in the state and to justify the confidence reposed in them.In a vote of thanks, the vice chairman, Mr Danladi Danbeki, thanked God and Governor Danbaba Suntai, for giving them the opportunity to serve their people.
